We have plans for the future and for doing things now. We've developed a Strategic Plan as an organizational guide to follow in the coming years. And in partnership with the Northampton County Conservation District, we recently developed a Coldwater Conservation Plan for two of the watersheds in our service area.
We are currently working with the Conservation District, PPL Electric Utilities Corporation and private landowners to carry out recommendations in our Coldwater Conservation Plan for planting trees and shrubs along recently cleared power line stream crossings. Streamside plants buffer streams from water pollution, help keep water temperatures cool for aquatic life and keep stream banks from eroding.
