We accomplish our mission to protect local land and water resources through watershed restoration projects, conservation education programs and community outdoor recreation adventures.
We partner with other organizations, like the Northampton County Conservation District, the Hokendauqua Chapter of Trout Unlimited, the PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources and other nonprofit groups and agencies to develop and carry out program and conservation plans, clean up local streams and parks, repair eroding stream banks and present educational nature and environmental programs for local youth and families.
We also connect people to their local natural resources by reaching out to the public with interpretive nature walks on local trails and recreational paddle adventures on the Lehigh River. We believe that connecting people to the land and water around them will lead to a community that cares about its natural resources and works together to conserve and protect those resources.
